VFW Memorial Day Caravan

We welcome veterans and the general public to join us on our annual VFW Memorial Day Caravan in Fairmont, WV, on Monday, May 29, 2023. There is no registration. You can join us for the entire caravan (bring your own vehicle or motorcycle) or at specific stops to honor our fallen veterans on this Memorial Day. A brief ceremony will be held at each caravan stop. A wreath laying will be included at each caravan stop with the exception of the bridge (which includes throwing of flowers from the bridge as part of the naval program); organizations and individuals are invited to place a wreath at any or all caravan stops. We will have a police and motorcycle escort.

9:30am: Hershel 'Woody' Williams VFW Post 7048 Memorial
10:00am: High Level Bridge at Jefferson Street
10:30am: Veterans Square Plaza at corner of Adams and Madison Streets
11:00am: Grandview Memorial Gardens at 98 Grandview Cemetery Road
11:30am: VFW Post 629 Memorial at 802 Fairmont Avenue
