OVJC has been offered a spot in the annual Williamstown, WV Memorial Day parade and Remembrance Ceremony. Parade lineup begins around 9am on Memorial Day at Tomlinson Park in Williamstown. The parade travels to Waverly Rd and continues to Riverview Cemetery. Historically there has been a wreath-laying ceremony, a brief speaker, and a 21-gun salute at the cemetery to honor our fallen. There is typically a hot dog luncheon and flag disposal ceremony held afterward at the American Legion Post 159 in Williamstown.

Feel free to decorate your Jeep with the red, white, and blue, flags, patriotic signs or banners, remembrance signs, etc. Please make sure any profanity is covered from view.

Route-Go down E. 5th to Bukey then onto Waverly Road to Riverview Cemetery. Along with the WHS Band, Honor Guard and Mayor Paul Jordan we will honor our deceased heroes with the playing of TAPS.

Afterwards- the flag disposal ceremony will be at the Post with lunch following.

Everyone is invited to participate. All ball teams, cheer, all scouts, tractors, bikes, VFW and Legions, Strings, antique cars and trucks, first responders, Civil Air Patrol, etc.
