Mountain Lake Campground and Cabins

1898 Airport Road

My husband and I, along with our two children started operating this campground in February of 2005. We had wanted a business to operate as a family and this campground gave us that opportunity. We hit the ground running in February. There was snow all around us but, that did not stop us! We knew we had until the first big holiday - Memorial Weekend - to get the store you see (pictures to the right) complete. It was a busy year to say the least! We tore down the old store only keeping the concrete slab underneath and built the new farmhouse looking store you see today. In addition to building the new store, we did everything from installing swimming pools to working on the underground utilities and lots more.

I would like to say that although there are still lots of hard work to be done, I do not regret a day of it, because I know God put us here! I would also like to say we value our customer’s opinions and will do our best to provide you with the service we would expect to have for our family.

In closing we encourage you to please fill out comment cards or fill out our guest reviews online to give us the feedback we need to serve you better. Because, if you do not tell us how we are doing, how will we know! We would also like to say thank you to all our existing customers and thank you to those of you considering becoming our customer.

This place were awesome! They have a giant bouncy thing a bunch of cool mini golf stuff and excellent staff. I wish they would employ me it would be like Camp forever. The gift shop has everything you need plus more. They have plenty of cool things to do with the kids many open lots for camping and enough blacktop to skate on.

Facilities clean an all around pretty cool looking campground. Unfortunately I did not receive the same vibe from the staff. I arrived after hours and left at 7 am therefore all communications had been made by phone. After my stay I called them to explain that the cabin I rented for the night had no hot water (10 pm cold shower) . I woke up to the same, so I elected to use the communal showers (nice and hot) The immediate response was "The town is working on a water main and their is nothing they can do" I proceed to explain that water was flowing from both taps?? " It's a town issue nothing we can do" "the hot water is from an on demand system and it doesn't word if no water" this was a complete lie as the cabin has a small HW tank under the kitchen sink. "Have a wonderful day" was the closing remarks, no apologies or regret. 2 STAR customer service...

Place was great, everything is clean, well maintained. The jumping blob was a hit, can't wait to go back in warmer weather.

Security guard clearly drinks while on duty, and harassed teenaged girls. Creepy guy.
